Hi, we're moving to Temecula in the next 12 months, and would like a little advice from families who live in the area. We've been homeschooling our son for several years, and he wants to go to traditional school for his high school years (he's an only child and is beginning to miss all the school activities of kids his age). We will be moving to the wine country area, so the schools we've been requsting information from are: Great Oaks High, Linfield Christian, Rancho Christian, and Calvary Murrieta Christian Schools. Since we know nothing about the area or about these schools, we'd really like to hear from those of you who can share a little with us.

We will also be looking for a Christian church for our family, and one that has a well developed junior high/high school ministry program. Any suggestions along those lines would be great too.

Thank you so much for sharing your hearts with us!

Donna

A quick google search for Great Oak resulted in this: Great Oak High School - Temecula, California - CA - School overview

A score of 9 out of 10 on greatschools.org They have 25 reviews with a 4 out of 5 rating and most of them seem very positive.

I am assuming you could search the other schools as well.

Yes, I've searched Great Schools and read the few reviews posted, but I'm looking for more specific, current information from people who live in the area with kids that attend, or friends with kids that attend these schools. Thank you.

If you are on facebook, you may want to join and ask in the Temecula Talk or Murrieta Talk groups.
