Doing a survey and need to get some feedback on what temperature Coachella Valley residents usually set their thermostats to during summer.

Thank you in advance.

Not a thermostat, but I usually set my A/C to 72° or under, since I reside in Indio (the entire city is below sea level (as is the entire eastern half of the CV), at -13 ft). Who the heck sets their thermostat at 85 degrees or higher during the summer?!

72°? What a wimp! Mine's always at 78°-80°. It gets expensive.

I hate extreme heat, but love the Coachella Valley! When I lived there, I kept my apartment very cold. It felt good to come into a cool room when it was 115 outside.

Okay, maybe not 72° or lower ALL the time. Right now, my A/C is at 74°... On another note, who doesn't like the valley heat?

I love both the extreme heat and the Coachella Valley! Born and raised!

I'm a native of Pasadena, so I like it more mild.

Just horsin'! I did work many summers outside in this valley, though, from my early teens to my thirties..and let me tell you, after a while, it's not fun. I think my ICU (inner cooling unit) was malfunctioning those last couple summers. Now I'm all about workin' indoors.

While I, on the other hand, am a native of Indio, so I like it anywhere from mild to extreme.
