Someone get in touch with FEMA! We need emergency blankets delivered right away. These lows in the 40s are just too much. I just don't know how they're handling the lows in the 30s in La Mesa or even the 20s in Escondido. The horror. The horror.

Let's start a contest. Finish the sentence.

It's so cold in San Diego that...

I had to turn the heat on in the car.

Haha- I remember last year during a real cold snap I found myself turning the floor furnace on, in the daytime for a couple of days and couldn't remember the last time I did that, if ever.

My truck is parked outside. Yesterday I had to turn on the engine to heat it up and scrape frost from the windshield.

That happens maybe ~3-8 times a year.

I had to spend 5 minutes digging through the garage looking for the ice scraper I use once a year, but by the time I gave up and got back to the car the defroster had done its job anyway. Figures.

How cold was it last night?

It was so cold last night that the hookers on El Cajon Blvd. were charging $20 just to blow on your hands!
