Right now I am experiencing some garbage internet from Time Warner Cable. I'm talking some slow, slow internet that cuts out randomely.

Anyone else feeling this? Maybe it is because of a winter break rush (everyone coming home from college, putting in some internet time?)

I'm using Time Warner with no speed problems right now.

Try this speed test: T1 | Business Broadband & Voice Provider | Speakeasy Inc.

For the Los Angeles test, I'm getting almost 15meg down and about 1meg up.

We've been seeing this, on channels (I think) 8 and 10, for the last few days. Both sound and image break up. We don't much care about what's on those channels, so we've just been changing the channel.

Default Here too

We have Time Warner and have been getting dropped from our internet connection a lot over the last few days... it's not normal for us either. And when it's not dropping it is still really slow.

I have Time Warner for internet and Cable. I haven't noticed any problems. I have the 10 MB service included with my HOA fees and it consistently gets close to 10 MB speed.

Switch to Uverse, I did, my connection would drop around 7pm everyday, when I lived in the Mira Mesa area.

It doesn't matter who you are with if you don't call when you have problems. All of them eventually have some issue. I don't know anyone who trades in a car when it gets a flat tire.

I have not noticed any recent lagging issues, but when I do and it seems to happen for a good while, I just reboot the router and modem and that usually seems to fix it. Also a while back I had issues with my TV pixelizing constantly to the point where everything was unwatchable, I was able to get it fixed by using TWC online chat. I love using the online chat, its faster than waiting on hold and they seem to care more and get the issue fixed instead of when calling they talk down to you like you are an idiot and insist you must go thru their trouble shooting steps in order (like rebooting the cable box which I always do before calling them)
