How is the commute from La Mesa to Scripps Poway Parkway (Kirkham ct)?
My shift will be 7:00am to 3:30pm Mon-Fri.
What will i have to deal with?
Thanks

That's against traffic on I15, so should not be so bad.

You could also take 67 to Scripps Poway Pkwy.

I go 94>805>15 but between 9am and 10am either to my office off of Scripps Poway or RB. In the PM you should be ok.
Traffic doesnt really start noticeably stacking until 4ish or so. If I am working that late from RB or Scripps Poway, I go 15>163>805>94. For some reason the lanes merging on the 15s near Clairemont Mesa Bl just back up for a couple of miles until the 8.

On a bad day its 30 mins door to door and usually the traffic jams are at the freeway intersections.

Traffic patterns dont make much sense though from day to day. There are times when its a breeze and other days at the same time it can get backed up in certain parts. Really random.

I did it for years (15N AM commute into Scripps Poway Parkway / Danielson). It is an easy freeway commute, mostly reverse traffic pattern although there is slowing at Mira Mesa Blvd. The only real drag is driving up Scripps Poway from the freeway - a lot of traffic lights and can easily take 15 mins. There is a back route via Pomerado Rd to Community but not sure it's actually any faster.

Exactly ^^
That's why im going to leave at 6:15am for the 1st couple of months to judge traffic.
I've already told the new boss that come hell or high water im leaving at 3:30 sharp.
I have to pick my middle child up from Patrick Henry high school by 4:00pm( or in at lease till basketball season starts)

Yea ive already tried the Pomerado rd way.
To many lights and i only shaved 2 mins.
Now commuting to RB is a Nightmare imo.
I spent 2 weeks driving to and from RB For Orientation.
If i had to do that every day from La Mesa Id quit!
I never been so scared before in my life in my Life.
Ive worked and live in and around lemon grove/la mesa for 19 years.
New job Plus longer commute is making me nervous

I am thankful I don't need to drive to an office everyday to RB from the Grove. Otherwise, we would seriously rethink the housing situation.

The good news ID that its mostly a straight shot. If my commute one way was as long as an average album length, not sure that would be too much fun. Lol

Hopefully this new gig works out for you hitman!

Not sure how much faster, depends on where in La Mesa your start from. The 67 does not have many lights and less traffic, at least from Santee/Lakeside into Poway.

Be careful on the 67! There are many accidents on it.

Also note that Poway traffic enforcement is somewhat more aggressive than other communities. You should be ok in the business district, but outside of that they issue tickets for minor things.

BTW, the traffic is so light in that area of Poway that I take my son there to teach him driving on weekends. He is just starting. I've seen other parents teaching driving out there, too.

67 back way is a hellride for a daily commuter

Is a long ride but not that bad. Compared to la mesq to utc or del mar heights, it's cake.

So first day at the new job was Ok!
Left the house at 6:25 got to work by 6:45
The 52 gets backed up around mast Blvd, but then gets
Thin as you get out of santee.
I'm Definitely going to have to get use to the commute.

Nice hitman.

Yeah that bottleneck can be a pain. Have you thought about 8>15? That could trim some time
