No plans at all. I am retired and my wife is a homemaker so we can vacation whenever we want. We never go anywhere during holidays or weekends as we don't like crowds. We just got back from 6 days in Nevada and Palm Springs.

Also if you buy $10 or something at the store (store up bday gifts at least), parking is free. Unique place - a win.
As usual, I agree with bloom. We're going to breakdown and get an annual pass this year. The past two years we spent so much time during the summer out of town but this year besides Hawaii and Bora Bora for a few weeks we'll be here this summer and plan to go to Legoland many times.

We had a blast at Soak City in Palm Springs today.

Retired. Most of the major attractions during the holidays and weekends are crowded. Can do stuff on the weekdays and avoid crowds.

Not retired (but looking forward to it :-D ). I just hate crowds. So we're staying home this weekend, except for buying a new tow vehicle. Now to find us a lightweight camping trailer ...

Absolutely! I was in Palm Desert this morning eating breakfast in a restaurant. And the waitress was greeting some women (seemed like regulars) and said "Happy Memorial Day" and the women laughed and said "as if that's a real holiday". The next thing I know this elderly man sitting at the table next to her got up to her and said, "Yes, it IS a holiday. I proudly fought for this country and for you and I can assure you it IS a holiday".

Wow, it was an amazing moment! On the way out of the restaurant, I stopped by his table and thanked him for everything he did for us. You should have seen the smile on his face.

Man these men and women are the best! And we owe them so much.
