This isn't a 'contest' of some sort. You asked for some help -- which you obviously didn't need -- and I gave you some. You're the only who seems to think it's necessary to be right. I hope you are right. To be wrong will to be very expensive for you. As for me, I won't be out a penny either way.

It's not a contest you're right, but you're the one now with 2 statements on here that are completely false and of no help. Your $100/day minimum statement just makes you look stupid. And then to follow it up by saying I can't get a room for a price I already booked made it look worse for you. I'm just saying before you start commenting like you think you know something maybe you should check your facts.

And I'm still saying -- essentially -- that I don't believe you. :-) And if you really did book a room, in San Diego, in summertime, for $400/wk. more than likely it's a doghouse. PS: I'm still not out a penny.

I would hardly call the BW lamp-lighter inn a dog house, they are one of the top rated hotels on tripadvisor and every other travel site. And its probably better that you dont believe im getting it for 399/wk I dont want to step on the managers toes in case hes just giving me a special rate or something. Anyways, carry on spouting how expensive san diego is and nobody will ever find anything under $100/day.

What area is this BW Lamplighter in? That may have made a difference in the rate.

You should check out the Extended Stay. They take pets and have a 30 day option that is very reasonable. It won't meet your under $300 target but they are usually clean and safe. All come with large refrigerators and cook tops.

i agree with this poster, that is the going rate.... it is difficult to find anything decent under $1200 a month on a long term lease...and that would not include basic utilities.

and if you did find a room at the lamplighter for $400 a week that would take a pet (including TOT tax?) you should take it and pay for it immediately.

Check these out, but I'm also curious to see/know which extended stay is good?
