Very good lighting but I'd prefer a full moon.

I ask my dog to go for a walk last night, and he look at me then proceeded to lay back down like: "You're crazy if you think i'm going out in that heat"
My son played a football game yesterday in East County and kids were cramping up left and right.
So are most of the schools in San Diego county on half day Today?

Default Worst summer ever

I lived in San Diego (La Jolla, Bay Park, San Carlos) for 54 years and Fallbrook for one year. To me this was the worst summer ever. So much heat and humidity. I don't remember summers like this ever as a kid. Maybe it is my age but boy the weather makes me cranky. Not used to going outside and then having to shower. Registered kids yesterday for an after school program in a gym with no a/c, it was 99 degrees in Fallbrook, humid, and so miserable. I was whining to a lady yesterday and she said she lived in Arkansas for 25 years and felt this week was no big deal. I guess us natives are true weather weenies.

Come on El Nino!

We lived in Texas on and off, any number of times. A friend from there , told me yesterday, I have become " sissified", living in Fallbrook. I think I might have to agree!

Hey...if you are on Facebook...Fallbrook has a pretty informative FB page called " Friends of Fallbrook".

Thank you. I just heard of that Facebook page last week and joined. I do love Fallbrook but this weather has been the pits. And my electric bill from the A/C was $350 last month.

As someone who has lived in Orlando most my entire laugh I can't help but laugh at you guys talking about the heat.

It it literally 90-100 degrees everyday here with 100% humidity May until about mid October. And when its not blistering 100 degree heat there is a enormous rain/thunderstorm.

My electric bill was only $47 this month but its definitely been hot with just fans running. Can't imagine living inland w/out AC
