Same thing happened to Golden Corral the first time they were here in San Diego.

^^ The Chinese place on Convoy, yes its good, this was a popular spot for Bdays on my old team at work. Also Onami Buffet in Mission Valley Mall is good.

It's no surprise Golden Corral never made it throughout the same areas HTB closed in. I doubt they will jump in.

It's not really local anymore as they are owned by Sun Capital. Their HQ is still in SD and they still operate as their own company, but whenever you're owned by some big capital firm. you're really never 'independent.'

HTB is horrible, no surprise they closed. The quality of food was horrendous, Golden Corral (owned by the same company) is miles better!
