Hi, we are a family of 5. My husband likes having kitesurfing everyday.

So we are now searching for a place to stay for about 2 weeks vor vacation next to a kitesurfing spot.

Is there a place Hotel and Kiting next to each other?

I couldnt find something, maybe you have a tipp for me?

Thank you so much, bye nadja

There are a lot of kites urfers at Tourmaline Beach in South La Jolla. You may want to look for Airbnb's versus hotels since there are 5 of you. If you do look at hotels search for ones in the North Pacific Beach area such as the Pacific Terrace Hotel.

Check out the San Diego Kiteboarding facebook group. They have a map of locations that are open to kiteboarders and are happy to answer questions.

Areas that I regularly see kiteboarders using include the Silver Strand (between Coronado and Imperial Beach) and Mission Bay (close to Pacific Beach and Mission Beach). You can find plenty of hotels and vacation rentals in all of these areas.

The Catamaran Resort might work for you. The resort backs right up to calm Mission Bay. For more excitement, the Pacific Ocean is an ez 2 block walk to the west.
