As of now, I'm scheduled to work 111.5 hours starting Sunday, but I may get more.

Can you get your C-D friends any free passes? How about a vendor badge?

There is no such thing as free passes for Comic Con. If you wanted a vendor badge, you would have had to start last year, and it would have cost you big bucks.

I live in The Gaslamp so I am dreading the crowds. I have to carry my yorkie over near the Childrens Museum lawn to relieve herself as she is tiny and I dont want any yahoo stepping on her.

Looks like you will be super busy moved.

Yeah, I will. And I want to see how they're going to keep anyone who doesn't have a Comic Con badge from walking on the sidewalk in front of it.

Many years ago, we would walk our dogs around the convention center perimeter during comic-con. Not any more. It's a sea of people these days. My wife and I will still walk the convention center perimeter next week. We Uber to the Manchester Hyatt and walk and walk and walk. Comic-con is a lot of fun just walking around the area. Yes, we are aware of the new Harbor Blvd rules so we have a plan b.

Wow, have fun! You may see my hubby there too (he's in the media). He always talks about how exhausting it is working Comic Con.

It really is exhausting, but the money is good, though. I'm nowhere near the media, I work at the front lobby doors, confiscating badges that don't scan. All of my shifts are 5am - 8pm, and I have a day off, but I'll volunteer to come in if they need me, which they will.

After this years comic-con, please tell us some more stories about people trying to get in without tickets. I need some good ideas on getting into the Eagles concert at Petco Park in September. Decent seats are running over $500 a ticket.

The only way to get in free to the Eagles concert is to work it. And then you won't get to see it. Or wait for someone to put it on YouTube.
