I wouldn't live in THAT area, either. Next time you go visit your relative, drive down Mary Lane and compare what you see with Washington Park.

Do I want to live 3 miles from a barrio? Not so much. But I do like being able to afford a mini-estate for a price of an average 3-bedroom townhouse in Carmel Valley.
