Hegemony need not be defended, much.

They get pissy when foreigners call soccer "football" or say that rugby players are tougher.

It's all part of David Sterns secret plan to make the Clippers look better, now between having Blake Griffen & The Royals in the OC, they will no longer be the bottom feeder team in LA. Here is how I see it breaking down

Lakers Tickets: lower bowl, bought be celebs who want to be seen, rich kids who want to see celebs and hollywood power brokers, upper bowl true Lakers die hards....although Jack is a die hard.

Clippers Tickets: for those who either can't get or can't afford Lakers tickets, and somewhere Billy Crystal & Frankie Munuz can go to be seen...nobody in the lower bowl really would notice them anyway, they are too busy watching the game.

Royals: Will need to draw fans from Anaheim, because the LA market is, was and always will be dominated by the Lakers. That is like adding a MLB team in Newark NJ, the tri state area is dominated by the Yankees, followed by a smaller, but strong Mets fan base...the new team would need to create new fans out of the NJ locals who may convert to a true local team....much like what the Nets will need to do when they move to Brooklyn.

well at least the Kings are not moving into the Staples Center...that would be a bit much! lol
