I'm psyched ! Flying out to San Francisco on Friday and will wear my Giants gear :-), The Giants became my second favorite team when I moved out to SF in 1999. I'm a Yankee fan, and have since moved back to NY, but I'll never forget how heartbroken I was when the Giants lost the World Series in 2002. Hopefully we get a Giants-Yankees World Series !

Yea, bad move in the pitching in the 7th inning up by 5. BB would have got MVP.

Man I'm so glad we won that one. Could you imagine how embarrassing it would be having San Diego fans represent west coast baseball fans??? The people hit beach balls around and don't pay attention to the game and the stadium barely draws over 30k. Could you imagine a half empty stadium with a bunch of dorks hitting around a beach ball? People in philly in new york would just laugh at the nl west. Thats my next question since when did San Diego even have a fan base? Theyre like bandwaggon Chargers fans. They start showing up once the team does a little something.

Giants having to play in divisional run off would have been a disaster!
