The brainiest people are in DC?

Okay, they've had their chance, now lets allow the dumbest people to take over and see if they can lower unemployment, balance the budget, and turn the Titanic around.

Uh, FYI... Jobs can not be created by ANYONE if there isn't a demand for goods or services.

There won't be a demand for good and services until there are more jobs.

I disagree, look at silicon valley. People were not demanding anything, things are created, innovated, that force the consumer to want.

You dont have to own a car. I know tons of people in Chicago who ride the El train and walk and bike, the same as people about 100 years ago. But whats all that when the car industry makes billions a year. How about the Ipod. No one wanted Ipods or Iphones, they made these things, got ad agencies to make stellar commercials, and made YOU WANT ONE.

Heck 30 years ago there was no ogranic craze, look at it now, whole foods tucked away in every middle class suburb.

The Bay Area is full of highly educated people. Turn over a rock and you find either a PhD or an MBA. LOL

Just to illustrate what Im talking about...let's look at the City itself.

Even if that were true, what difference would it make? Most of you is probably an immigrant from Europe.
