I lived in Bay Area for 15 years and currently live in Houston for over 7 years. The weather we have been getting for the past 2 weeks is very Bay Area like. Very low humidity, sunshine, clear and cool. Just the right amount of warm in the afternoon and cool at night.

Well pretty much any major city in TX have 6 months of absolutely gorgeous weather i.e. bright, sunny, warm (not HOT) weather. SF has about 10 tolerable days a year usually when a heat wave happens. Otherwise its a relentless foggy, cloudy, cold, windy, 50 degree weather... TX has about 4 months of bad weather, but SF has 11.5 months of bad weather!

You are right...You can't compare Houston and SF weather because compared to SF Houston is heaven. If you live in SF long enough mold will grow on your skin and you will look lifeless and pale because of the permanent cold weather and no sun shine!

I mean seriously where did you get that chart? Or did you just make it yourself? 95% sunshine in SF in July! That's so outrageously wrong that the site needs to be taken down for public benefit. The entire western half of SF did not see any sun AT ALL in July and the eastern half like downtown saw the sun maybe 30% of the time. July is the absolute foggy hell in SF....and yes its HELL in all CAPS!

Summer is hurricane season and rainy season with temps up to 100 and humid.

I would not say SF has bad weather. What about San Jose?

11.5 months of bad weather? Why don't you pack up and move back to Texas? Yeah 11.5 months of bad weather do you even live in SF?

He claims to but no one who knows him in this forum believes that.

I been reading some of these threads and noticed the same people in there being negative in 99% of their posts. Then you look at their location and they are not even from the cities they are trashing. MOD CUT

I think we should set up a donations box to mail andy back to Texas. One of these days he might realize he could get much warmer weather if he moved 20 miles inland to Lafayette or whatever but I think he'd prefer to just complain.

Yeah, the same three people are STILL ranting and whining about the same stuff for the past year now (weather, Oakland, and Bay Area crime).

They don't/won't go away, but should just be ignored when at all possible. Gotta feel sorry for folks that have such a bleak outlook and have nothing else going on in their lives. You'll just end up tearing out your hair if you pay too much attention to them.
