If by "give or take", you mean "give or take 30-60 minutes", then yeah.

It's 56 miles from Concord to Redwood City. To do that in 30 minutes, you'd have to drive 112 miles per hour. Whichever route you choose, you're going to have a bridge and at a couple bottlenecks.

Edit: I just realized you probably meant "an additional 30 minutes", so that makes more sense, but I think it's still at least an extra 45 minutes given you're talking about some notorious stretches of freeway no matter which way you're commuting.

I live at 9th and Market in downtown San Francisco near the 101 freeway exit, and yet after 7am it's a solid hour to Redwood Shores everyday. If you leave a minute earlier than 6:45am (and are on the highway by that exact time), it can take 30min. But the difference is literally 1 minute.

It's an hour by car with no traffic ... if you're lucky. 2 hours if using public transport.
