Well, if you're not in SF, then you're under official heat advisories all weekend, so it kind of is unless you're far enough inland to have air conditioning. Those peninsula and Marin folks will be the ones suffering the most because not enough people will have AC. San Jose and up towards Pleasanton and Walnut Creek will be better covered. Drink fluids, people!

Dang you guys are getting it too? There are heat warnings everywhere I guess. I'm lucky enough to be very close to the water but I will be inland tomorrow. This is horrible. I hate heat.

A little reality check from the Midwest:

Just now from weather.com (3:30p CDT 7/2/11):

Oakland 73degF ...feels like 73degF

St. Louis 98 degF AND muggy ...feels like 104degF

Is this thread a joke? Seriously...

Is the OP from Sacto? I don't get it.....

LOL...I know right.

The news has been talking about a heatwave and its supposedly really hot inland and around the bay, but I dont see it materializing bay side. Yet.

And I dont mind btw. LOL.

It's pretty much perfect right now here in "lower" Rockridge, basically in the upper 70's I guess. Yesterday late afternoon was a bit too hot for me. I just went biking up to North Berkeley and back and there was a stiff breeze coming up from the bay, pretty chilly here and there.

They've been wrong for the entire coast. It was supposed to be int he 80's at the coast here but I think you and I had the same weather today. Marine layer is coming in as I type. However it is hot in our deserts so far and a few inland areas here but that's about it.
