The prices in Tracy are awesome! Of course becuase of the commute, but would it be suicide to try to make that commute daily??? The Bart and ACE would not work for my Husband due to his shift work but is the commute as bad as it seems? Anyone ever have to make this commute? Thanks again

Your quality of live will suffer. Is the lower price worth the waste of 2 hours per day in traffic? Not to me.

Pretty much torture. Going from Tracy to Dublin is a huge traffic jam. And then going from Castro Valley to Hayward is another huge traffic jam. The only part that would be pleasant is the 7 miles from Dublin to Castro Valley.

I used to live in Dublin, and worked in Hayward off of 92. It took around 20 minutes to go from Castro Valley to where I worked on 92. Freeway or no freeway. I did every possible route, and the shortest time was 15 minutes ever. (During the height of the commute time). The last 4 miles sucked. Getting through Hayward took for ever. Several of my coworkers lived in Hayward and it also took them 20 minutes.

The more and more we look Tracy is really our there and my husband would be in to much traffice everyday missing our on family life, so it's gonna be some where in the Tri cities or Fremont I've been told by a realator that Ardenwood is a pretty good place can anyone testify to this? Thanks again

The amount of traffic you would see is 100% dependant on your work schedule. If you get through that corridor before 6am there is no traffic unless there is an accident. You mentioned he did "shift work". Im not sure what shift that is, but the time you travel 580 is what makes the difference.
