I'm a single female professional working in downtown SF. I hope to find a park like neighborhood with lots mature trees, trails etc to live and I prefer to rent condo. Price is not much a concern to me, acturally I prefer to live in a more expensive area for safety reasons.

Please recommend!

the park like neighborhoods that come to mind are st frances woods, forest hills, sea cliff and lake street.
but there very few apartments in these area mostly single family homes as an apartment block would kind of ruin the park like milieu.

Interested in this also, even though I seek less permanent solution.

Lamorinda (Lafayette, Moraga, Orinda), Walnut Creek, Pleasant Hill would all suit your needs. There's a BART station in most of these towns that will you get you to the city in 20-35 minutes.

Don't listen to anyone that is recommending East bay especially Outer East Bay since you are working in SF looking for a condo and money is no object. It is silly lol. St Francis would is very park like, but as another member mentioned it is mostly single family homes. You can also check out Twin Peaks, Diamond Peaks and parts of Marina District, Noe Valley, Telegraph Hill and Russian Hill. You may also like the Panhandle too.

You're not really gonna find a "park like neighborhood with lots mature trees, trails etc" in SF. That just screams the Berkeley Hills, or somewhere like the northern Oakland Hills. Or a lot of parts of Marin and San Mateo County. It really depends on budget and how OP wants to get to work.

Mill Valley fits this description to a "T". Marin Headlands park is on the edge of town, with hiking trails. Mature trees? Would hundreds'-year old redwoods suit you? But from Marin, the commute can be challenging, though there's public transportation to take some of the stress off. Marin is as safe as you can get. Take a drive to Mill Valley on a weekend, across the GG Bridge from San Fran. You'll fall in love with it.
