Each time I pass by the stretch of old Foothill Blvd between 106th Ave and the San Leandro Border I would admire the creativity of a lone urban artist along the freeway side of the road...

Simple twigs arranged to mimic animals... tree stumps arranged to spell out Oakland plus interesting creations made from nothing more than collected trash.

Tonight I found it all gone... almost without a trace...

Sad in that someone took the time to adopt and beautify a little corner of East Oakland making it something everyone I know enjoyed.

Anyone familiar with the display or know the rest of the story.
