san francisco is not do able on my income not for a few more years at least, and I'm not the type to sacrifice and live in a dump and get robbed evrrynight just to live in a nice city

oakland is pretty much a sh*t hole from what I've read and heard but is somewhat cheaper than fresco

is there affordable suburbs of the bay area that don't have a bad commute to san fran airport or oakland airport

also could you give me info on dublin california and liverpool, is their affordable rentals there, is it safe, stuff to do and see or is it out in the middle of nowhere

You couldn't be more wrong, actually. Given that you don't even know how to spell "Frisco", it sounds like you might want to do lots more research. "Liverpool" is a city in England btw.

you seem like you'd fit right in around Seminary and International. There's a really nice McDonalds near there.

Nope. There is a place called Livermore in the Bay Area. Try again.

SF and SJ are affordable, of course, if you relax the requirement that "affordable" is defined as "own the building and the land underneath".

A condo in a building containing other condos is affordable in SF and SJ.

As I said in another thread today, the key to affordable housing when you're young in the Bay Area is to have roommates. I had roommates for the first ten years I lived in the Bay Area, and was able to live in decent areas.

That McDonalds is across the street from one of the original Kwik Ways, sister restaurant to the Lake Merritt Kwik Way. It's now a Mexican restaurant. But still one of the more interesting blocks in Oakland.
