Also worth noting: not a single Ivy League School is located in California.

Stanford is more exclusive than any of them.

Sure, but it's still not an Ivy League school, which is what WithDisp is humble-bragging about. Oxford is exclusive as well, but nobody in this thread is mentioning it. And for good reason.

What are your goals in regards to your economics degree?
An MA in economics does not prepare you for a ph.d and does not provide you with enough econometrics and advanced statistics ( probability for example) to do any jobs that require serious modeling.you would need an MS for that. An MA may be ok it depends on your career goals

the worst business people i have met, they went to the ivy league schools because they are lazy, already have money and trust the school name to do the job for them. While others who went to average schools are the best business people because they have nothing to rely on and so they hustle and they they know to get it done.

Anecdotal stories may be true in a small scope.

Yet the 8 Ivy League schools combined degreed 62 of the Fortune 500 CEOs.
That's over 10%.

Any 8 'Average Schools' combined would tally 2% at best.

Datawise- Average school students are 5 times less likely to be the 'best' business people.

This is exactly what they teach/tell you at ivy league universities so they can get your money.
