Gizmo, SF has to have hands down the best weather on the planet. I live in NY but I believe this firmly. I will never understand people who love summer heat.

My 3 weather principles (in order are)

1) Hate the heat and humidity

2) Love it nice and cool

3) Hate the snow

Sounds like SF to me. I'm a tenured teacher in NY though. Maybe when I retire, lol
Yup, you would LOVE San Francisco!! It doesn't often get below 40, so snow rarely if ever happens (and it's just a dusting if/when it does)... but we also don't get much heat and humidity, so I think the weather here is perfect. The city itself usually averages a low of 50-55 & high of 55-65, even in the summer, although the rest of the Bay Area can get warm if you're inland or south. Anyway, glad you enjoyed the pictures!

P.S. The weather today was spectacular, but a little warm for my taste @ 68 degrees... LOL.

Woah! We weren't even near that part of town. Two days just isn't enough to cover San Francisco. Really nice pics! What an awesome city. It's my wife's new favorite!

Nice dawgs too!

Thanks! And yeah, the tourists (and many locals) don't bother with this part of town... which is their loss, because as you can see it's quite pretty! But 2 days is definitely not enough time to cover SF, even though it's only about 49 square miles.

Default Scenes from a car...

I love taking pictures from my car, since it gives you a unique perspective on things... don't worry, it only takes one button click on my cell, and I do it without looking! (and usually only in traffic) Here are a few scenes from the last two days:

Crossing the San Rafael Bridge

My favorite view, coming through the tunnel in Marin Cty

Crossing the Golden Gate

Check out that fog! (Bay Bridge)

These weren't taken from the car - but who said we don't have Palm trees in No. Cal? (in Emeryville)

Hard to believe this is like 8 miles from the fog cloud... and only 20 minutes earlier.

Default when were these taken?

When did you take these? Based on the types of cloud formations and the trees in front of city hall being pruned back the way they were, it looks like you were here in winter? It would be really strange for the city to trim those trees at the moment, so just wondering!
