I am planning on transferring there from Chicago next year.. I am double majoring in business in Accounting and Finacne.. I am unable to find an answer to this question through Google... And another option is UC Berkley. Also, I would become a resident of California eventually since my sister lives in S.F
Are there any other good schools in the Bay Area that offer business majors??

Help appreciated, thank you!

USF is a good school, apparently best known for it's Hospitality Industry Management Program...
I understand that their Finance program is pretty well known as well around here. They have MBA as well.
It's in a great location in SF and it's a cute little campus.

Cal is a MUCH more competitive, harder school to get into and succeed in (the competition is fierce) than USF. Top Business schools in the Bay Area are: Haas (UC Berkeley), Santa Clara University, and San Jose State.

USF is known for being a school that rich kids go to because they couldn't get into a better school.

since you're from Chicago, I'll put it into terms you can relate:

UC Berkeley = U of I Urbana Champaign
USF = DePaul

I agree with you on the Haas, etc....
but I totally disagree with the "dumb little rich kid" angle.

well are you an Alumni? Because I am, and I just graduated 8 months ago and I doubt much has changed in 8 months.

Warning: that's a religious school. Be sure you're not at odds with a heavily Christian perspective if you go.

it's very far from being a "religious" school. Keep in mind that this is San Francisco, probably the most liberal city in this country. I've never encoutered a "heavily Christian perspective" my entire time at USF.

I'm just saying people should be very comfortable with that sect before attending, not that they shouldn't go.

if you attend, your education/quality of life/internship opportunities will not be affected by the "religious views" of the University. So your initial point is irrevelant.
