California is not that bad. I've been hunting here for nearly two decades. If you want deer, a zone and b zone is your best bet. Their success rate is in the thousands every year. If you want pigs, go toward that west coast. If you're a good hunter, doesn't matter where you go. You'll be successful, national forest or private land,
