Hi All, I'd love to hear your opinions, good or bad, on area festivities, as well as any links to pages you know have good information.

Specifically I'd like some in the area of San Jose, but anything is welcome!

Thanks!

The San Jose Earthquakes will be playing the NY Red Bulls at Stanford Stadium Saturday, July 2, which will feature what is said to be the largest fireworks display in the South Bay. Great America always does a big one as well.

abclocal.go.com has listings for fireworks shows throughout the Bay Area.

Thanks!

I'm hoping to just find where fireworks are shot off, especially to see if I can see them from my house, not really looking to sit all day in the 90-something degree heat and be rewarded at the end with the fireworks. LOL.

With the demise of fireworks this year in Cupertino, that really leaves SJ, Shoreline and Milpitas on the actual day. And there is the Earthquakes game on Sunday, as mentioned. I think Great America may also have something on the 4th.

Thanks! Someone else recommended this too. Any idea where the best place to watch is, besides the park?
