Hello,

I have relocated from TX to CA. I am still having driver's license, Vehicle registration and license plate from Texas. What would be procedure to change all these to California when I go to DMV? Do I need to take an appointment with them? Thanks in advance.

Thanks,
Nisha

I highly recommend making an appointment, it is fairly easy to do on the DMV website.

Here's the link to make an appointment: https://www.dmv.ca.gov/portal/dmv/de...?localeName=en

You will need the title on your car and DMV will do a VIN verification. For the driver's test you only need to take the written exam, so you probably should study for it first. You an pick up a handbook at any DMV office or you can use the online guide:

When we moved to California from Nevada I thought my Nevada driver's license was all that I needed to get a California license but they sent me home to get either my passport or certified birth certificate.
