I would like to take a class in conversational Chinese. Are there any community colleges around the South Bay that offer this?

Check with Mountain View Public Library, as the last I heard (through participants in the ESL club I run at another library), they had a "language exchange" program - where you can pair up with a Chinese speaker, and swap English lessons for learning their language. I can't say for sure it's still active, but does seem like a neat program!

My husband took a course via an adult education program in Cupertino or Sunnyvale several years ago, so you could check them out, too.
