These are pictures of Colorado? Where exactly were they taken? These pics took my breath away!

If you are referring to the ones I posted those were taken high in the Rockies (Aspen) and in the San Juans (Telluride). These are a long drive from the Front Range (Denver, Colorado Springs, etc...) where the majority of ppl live but definately worth it!

There some really nice alpine lakes near Rocky Mountain National Park which is only 1.5 hours outside of Denver. Here are a few of them:











Its a great place for nature photography which is a hobby of mine.

Correct. It's located in (or near) Colorado Springs, which is about 45 minutes or so south of Denver.

Those pictures are deifinitely beautiful. The DH and I have been planning on taking a short vacation this winter. We need to add Colorado to the list.

Was leaving CA a good move? chess I live in Dallas..way cheaper that Santa Clara...I was able to buy a home here and live pretty well. There is sooo much out here, you just have to get used to the wacky weather...that is one of the cool things about Cali..and the obvious..the beach, mtns..and the lifestyle..people had more of an open mind there..Dallas is in the south and be strange that way sometimes :P
