My favorite views in the Santa Fe area are driving south on I-25 towards ABQ, as the land starts dropping away. The vistas are simply incredible, but it's hard to do them justice with only a camera.

The Lensic Theatre is really quite beautiful. I feel that St. Francis Cathedral and Capital Tower are the two runners up for the official Santa Fe postcard picture. For the religous, the Cross of the Martyrs would be included as well.

Southwesterly, it is every bit as peaceful in person as it is in the pictures. Maybe more so.

Being able to look at these mountains and all this beauty around us is a gift that we can receive day after day after day.

Most days I feel like I am living in the most beautiful place on earth.

Thank you so much. You have all but convinced me that SF, NM (vs. SF, CA!) is truly where I need to be. Incredible. I feel the peace just watching these images float by.
Thanks for looking.
I would point out the the snow time was short lived.
Here is a recent sunset. (click the thumb)

Great picture, Tom.

If there is anything I love in NM as much as the mountain views, it is the nightly sunsets.

When we moved here, one of my top five rules for life here was "Never miss a sunset." And we make sure we don't.

COOL! We are thinking NM or AK! There is a range of diversity...but after another long MT winter-I am really hoping for NM!!!
