I've been looking for a way to map out sarasota/Manatee county attractions and restaurants in a map-based app for tablet or phone. I haven't been successful and wonder if anyone knows of such thing or might consider developing one. Sort of a map-based Trip Advisor, where you could take a tour through GPS-based app showing restaurants, attractions, to do's, etc.

I searched the App Store for "Sarasota" and a few things popped up that might be along the lines of what you have in mind. If they don't quite align, you might contact the developer with your ideas.

I use the AAA app when we go places that we are unfamiliar with. It lists just about anything on the map feature. Hotels, gas stations, restaurants, things to do, etc.

Search google maps for "Retirement homes" and just map them out. It'll be loaded!
All jokes aside...... There's a ton of maps with things to do. I've seen them for Manatee and Sarasota counties in print. Usually you can find them in hotel lobbys in the big rack of attractions. For boaters, most marinas have them, too.
