Walts doesn't have enough parking spots in their lot. I stopped going there due to inability to park. Does anyone know if they have an overflow spot to park?

I have never seen the appeal of that place....decades ago we occasionally went to the downtown location when it was still there - always pretty sub-par and I actually got nasty spoiled shrimp there - so many better seafood places to eat. I also feel the same about Anna Maria Oyster Bar and Captain Brians. Honestly, although it's a chain, the best seafood I eat is at Bonefish. Always consistent and fresh tasting.

The first Walt's on N Washington , 2 blocks north of Fruitville, (now a smaller strip plaza with an Amscot), was 'not bad' back in the day, but the elder died and property sold, the son took over and drove it down, and I think that's when he bought a defunct burger joint ocation down on south Trail - I thought the food was horrible.

Agreed AMOB needs to go, it's seen better days, but they make a fortune during season, ripping off unassuming patrons.

Ditto, places like Primo - a hasbeen extraordinaire. Bearded Clam=Nasty as well.

Agree, Primo and Bearded Clam are pretty awful. I heard a rumour that Tarpon Pointe was taking over Bearded Clam, but can't find info on that anywhere. Has anyone heard anything about that?

Well, that stinks. We go there pretty often for "comfort food."

Default Restaurant closing

It's a fact better than 50% of new restaurants close within the first 2 - 3 years!
