Samson is very friendly and will walk up tail wagging to anyone. He has never seen an ounce of aggression in his four years of life. We raised him from a puppy with our daughter who is now five. He loves all animals and people too. So please do not be afraid or walk the other way should you see him please call us.

I can attest to Samson being a great dog. I believe he is chipped as well.

OH...He's gorgeous. I don't live in NP, but I certainly will keep an eye out if I get down that way. Hoping and saying a little prayer that Samson will find his way home very very soon.

Thanks everyone! I just wanted to add that they live out in North Port Estates. This is the area east of I-75 where the property is 3-5 acres for each residence. Many of the homes are behind big gates so it's a little hard to go knock on all the neighbors doors.

I hope nobody took him. Not long ago a service dog jumped out of a car and was lost for a while. [URL="http://www.heraldtribune.com/article/20100730/ARTICLE/7301033"]That dog [/URL]was lost near Taylor Ranch for a week and was fine when found wandering around Venice! So keep your hopes up and keep spreading the word.

I live in North Port but more north toward Venice but I will look for him. I am an unashamed dog lover so if I find him I'll let you know right away. He looks like a fine dog.
