I'm thinking, after you have been to a restaurant, you check in and tell us how it was. Real time visits, from now on only. Give the date and your impressions.
I will start...
9/1/12 The Pirate's House
We went, not expecting too much, because of the busy weekend and they have a parking lot. Our party of 4 LOVED the food. Two of us had the filet, with garlic mashed and asparagus, and 2 had seafood dishes. The fried chicken we saw going by our table looked fabulous. The server was great, too.
Do not dismiss the Pirate's House as a tourist trap. The food was super.

B&D Burgers. I got two for take out and the burgers are super. If you eat in, the booths are cozy and the servers are very attentive.

The grass-fed burgers at Green Truck Pub on Habersham beat B&D by a hipster mile IMO. Everythng is made fresh --- handcut fries, salsas, pimento cheese, micro brews. They even make all their own condiments (the ketchup is awesome!)

A friend introduced me to Green Truck a couple months ago and I can't get enough!

Yes, I can't wait to go there. It sounds great.

Sundae Cafe on Tybee is one of the best places I've ever ate.

Longhorn in Pooler. It seems popular, but there are so few choices there. The decor is good, very cowboy-ish, and it seems clean. We were in the mood for prime rib, so we decided to go get some close to home. It was fine, but I hate when they spoil a decent piece of meat with a bunch of seasoning.
Two drinks at the bar were $16. plus tip. Really?

Longhorns in Pooler is one of the most disappointing expensive dining experiences I have had. The place is crowded, 30 minute wait time, the service is poor, the parking lot is crowded and the last time I ate there my steak was tough full of gristle and the blue cheese dressing was watery. I don't understand why it is so popular.

I know, right? I think our next target will be the new Mellow Mushroom in Pooler.

Went to Noodle Bowl in the plaza by Habersham and Eisenhower, my wife picked a Pho soup which came with fresh basil and other veggies, I got the Tom-Yum... Both where really good, mine was both sour and spicy. The owner is Indonesian and all of the dishes are made fresh out of their kitchen with a Indonesian twist to them...
