Default Country dancing (two-step) anywhere near Savannah?

I recently moved to Savannah from Texas and am looking for a place to go country dancing. So far I haven't seen or heard of anything here in the city. Someone tells me there is a country bar in Statesboro ... anyone know where that is?
Any help on the topic is appreciated.
Thanks!

There's a place called Montana's Grizzly Bar in Bluffton, SC. They apparently have some kind of country dancing venue on Friday nights, but I haven't been there as yet. Per the previous post by the PFC Conrad, I concur:this state/area is extraordinarily lame in this regard! Unbelievable! Isn't this the south?!

"The South" does not always mean that it's exactly like Texas.

If you mean Line Dance, I think that one or more of one of the American Legion Halls has it on weekends. It doesn't seem to appeal to many.

There is or used to be a country bar on Abercorn that did it at least once a week I think. It was on the right going away from downtown, and it was almost out to the second mall if I remember correctly.

Interesting thread.

Which makes me question, what kind of music is most popular in Savannah?

There's at least a little diversity and a lot of crossover. I think there's a large number of music lovers who are interested in the quality of the experience more than any particular genre.
