Don't know why I posted that.
Seattle needs more Siberians. They're under-represented.

And a happy-go-lucky lot they are.

^^ Balogna. I am guessing you're pointing out the downtown Seattle area, Bellevue, Shoreline, Federal Way areas.

Because I live down in the pits of puyallup, and I swear to God, I'm the only Asian guy shopping around in the Safeway market, get crappy service from most of the employees, most drivers (esp mister redneck in his large pickup clunker) don't even stop to let me cross the street in the parking lot. It's a depressing madhouse down here, which is why I'm itching so bad to move up north.

Sun and Rain, flee quickly. Come to Seattle or the Eastside, you'll be fine.

Sun&Rain, that's Puyallup for you. Come on over to Lakewood/UP/Tacoma, you'll find a few more Asians. But not on the same level as up north, true.
(I used to live in Shoreline where it seemed like Asians were half of the population.)

I sure will! I have to wait for my workplace contract to expire, plus my apartment lease to expire. Hence, I'm looking at next year summer to leave this dump area.

Tacoma and Lakewood are decent, but some parts are ghettos to be honest. I attend a Korean church in the Lakewood/south Tacoma area.

However, there seems to be more of a Vietnamese and Cambodian presence in Tacoma area. Not too many Koreans and Japanese, despite the fact that there is a Korean community in the S. Tacoma Way area. I usually go shopping in that area.

I still would rather live up north in Shoreline, Edmonds or if I have more financial resource, the Kirkland area. Bothell is okay. Too many new housing developments in Bothell.

Canada has cracked down on them, living in Vancouver, Raised taxes and fees on non Canadian residents. So they are moving to the US/

Of Seattle doesn't do something we'll have the same issue as Vancouver.

Lots of high-skilled jobs in the area might be one good reason. I just got home a couple of hours ago from the 4th Grade Math Olympiad event (schools from all around Seattle and surrounding suburbs), and Asian American kids cleaned up. ALL of the top 10 individuals, and team awards were won by Asian kids, most of them Chinese. They have pretty much entirely nudged out white American kids from competitive math, spelling and science events.

Particularity Asian females are not good drivers..

I know, I don't mean to be prejudice but the other day I was driving and at an intersection *I* had the right-of-way...I glanced at the other driver (Asian female)...it wasn't even worth fighting over...she went instead & I slammed on the brakes. They don't know the rules of the road. They seem not to understand what "yield" means.
