My brother and his wife (and their friends) caught another 10 or so from the looks of it at Deception Pass. Crazy!!

Where are you all fishing, at Deception Pass? On your own, or guided? My huband wants to take our son and everyone keeps talking about how great the fishing was, thanks!

Sorry, but I'm bumping this thread, we've only been in Seattle a few months and are trying to find out where the best fishing is. I see Deception Pass mentioned several times. Is that by the San Juans? Is it freshwater or salt, on your own or guided, fly or deep sea? Just wondering where everyone is having the great fishing, my husband really wants to take our son before school starts back up....thanks!

Deception Pass is near Whidbey Island. You can take the Mukilteo ferry over to Clinton. It's salt water (I believe) and they're casting from the shore. Non-guided. I believe they're just going below the bridge and fishing.
