After 38 years I feel I NEED to leave. Over the past 8 years we have continueally had longer grey winters. It's a drag. Both my husband and I have been on the verge of the SAD. Family and jobs keep us here but the weather is beyond rediculous. The sunny days we get few and far between just aren't enough. Has anyone looked at the calendar AND out the window? So, anyone have any ideas on how to beat the grey? Get outside? I feel cold to the bone. I should mention I just had a blood test and found I'm vitamin D deficient. Yes, I eat a well balanced diet, apparently people in this region are prone to this. We need more sun. Any good ideas?

Gosh if the weather doesn't bother you, go join some outdoor groups. There's all sorts of them from running to biking to climbing. If you are active, you should be able to find some fun people. Check the paper, especially during the summer they have all sorts of different activities most free, some have a small fee. Enjoy!
