Well I hate myself so much right now. I'm still getting used to parking my beloved Honda Civic in an underground parking garage in my new apt complex. Long story short, I was trying to turn into a spot and I misjudged the spacing along with turning to fast and I scrapped along side a concrete pillar Titanic style and damaged my girl

So now i'm working with State Farm to get it repaired before it gets wet in Seattle and causes the damage to rust in the coming months. I am completely new to Seattle as of two weeks ago if you havne't read my earlier threads and I have no idea which shops have a good reputation for work and people and use quality OEM parts vs places run by scumbags who do questionable work.

I would really like to find something close to the Lake City area and my search for places under State Farms list shows the following and I was hoping local people could chime in with what they have heard about places. Thanks for any help, i'm so frustrated and mad that this happened on top all my other things going on and costs with just freaking moving from out of state....

This place is only a block away from my apt complex and would be most convienent for me. However, the place looks run down and not very professional looking. Sorry to say, but first impressions are everything in business and my initial impression is not that great.

I had good luck with a place called ONP Auto Hobbies on Roosevelt in Seattle:
Onp Auto Hobbies Inc - University District - Seattle, WA

I had a gouge in my door and took it around to several places. Most of them wanted $500 or more to fix it. ONP did it for $120 and I was so pleased that I gave them a nice tip. I am very persnickety about waxing & washing my vehicles, and years later I could not tell that the gouge had ever occurred.

This was almost 10 years ago, but hopefully they are still there and carrying on the tradition.

My brother in law had his body damage repaired at Moore's, and was happy with them.
I had car body damage repaired at Fix, but it was their south Seattle location, so I can't vouch for their Kenmore location. But they did well by me. Took longer than it was supposed to, but they did a good job and were pleasant to deal with.

Precision and Roosevelt were highly recommended last time I had an insured driver hit me (although that was a decade ago). Unfortunately I ended up getting hit twice more (uninsured hit-runs) and had to spread one insurance check over a whole pile of body work to avoid filing a claim on my own policy. I used some hack place in the pike pine corridor. It was on a 6 year old Acura so no big deal if it came out less than perfect.

Unless you have to return the car at the end of a lease, it's probably not worth spending much $ to repair a civic. Just don't go to Maaco.

Pretty sure by law you can use whatever repair place you want to use. Preferred Center just means they have an agreement with State Farm to gouge you as much as possible and give discounts to the Insurance Company.
