Being in Houston now, where heat and humidity are the rule, it seems as though the growing season is all year and people that were perfectly fine elsewhere are suffering tremendously here. That, and the constant exposure to A/C and/or filtered (often poorly) air I believe leads to developing allergies. Enjoy the fresh air that you have.
A lot of folks actually don't mind the gloomy mild weather here. I used to live in Michigan and the brutal winters and hot/humid summers were not everybody's cup of tea. Seattle's weather is very mild compared to the rest of the country. It rarely gets colder than 35 and warmer than 75. Humidity is rare.

August! I love the weather, until it has a 90%+ humidity. Also, everything for summer has already bloomed, and everything for fall hasn't yet bloomed, which is perfect for my allergies.

For these reasons, I'm selecting July as my favorite month in Seattle.
I'm confused. Isn't the weather right now a traditional fall? Cooler temps, lots of color, very little grey/rainy. I'm kinda loving it, bc I know the grey is coming. Every extra bit of sunshine is freakin spectacular.

September sounds appealing from these responses but this past one was my least favorite month since we've moved here. SO MUCH RAIN. East-coast-style rain.
I like spring. This past May was so wonderful after the grey months.
