I would just look at the job listings online, should give you a good idea of range. My clients tell me that critical care nurses are in great demand in the Seattle area.

I can tell you that for critical care related floors/departments that the best salary will hover around $33-$40 per hour based on a weekend/night schedule at a few of the larger health organizations in Seattle (ie: Swedish, UW, Virgina Mason, etc).

Per Nurse Union contracts in Seattle, so of the pay will based on years of experience in addition to the aforementioned shift differentials. If you're outside the Seattle area, you will likely receive a relocation package which makes your move virtually cost free! Talk to the recruiters for the best information.

Oh, BTW........nurses with actual work experience (vs new grads) are in SUPER HIGH DEMAND throughout the Seattle region!!!!!

Good luck

How many years of experience do you have, and do you have a BSN? Can give you a much better idea of salary with that info.

Yes BSN and 20 years experience. Do your ICU's have a 2 patent to 1 nurse ratio as in California? I see most hospitals there are union shops and wonder if that has it's issues (high dues etc).
