Hi, everyone.

Does anyone know roughly how many subleases tend to be available around August/September/maybe October? I've been looking at them and, so far, they all seem to end in August. Does anyone know how many are typically available beyond then? A few? A lot? I wasn't living here last Fall, so I have no free of reference. Has anyone ever found a sublease in that time frame? Just trying to plan ahead, here. I don't want to sign a full-year lease, then; just looking for something short term.

Thanks, guys.

The summer subleases of apartments tend to be with students who return to parents, travel, work internships, etc., over the summer, but want their apartments back in the fall. With high demand and low vacancy, those looking for shorter-term leases, at least in the Seattle-Bellevue area, should be prepared to pay MORE.
