I like the food at the aquarium cafeteria. It's surprisingly good. Outside the aquarium there are a ton of chowder places. They are often filled with tourists but they are affordable and delicious.

I miss little Puerco Lloron, was right there on the steps up to the market. Goodbye to El Puerco Lloron | All You Can Eat | Seattle Times

I guess there's always chowder at Ivar's. Although very touristy, it's still good.

Post Alley Pizza is pretty good and very affordable, though I would say more authentic towards NYC pizza then anything Pacific Northwest.

It's a bit of a walk, but I like Paddy Coyne's (Irish) at Pier 70, Six Seven at the Edgewater Pier 67, or Anthony's Pier 66. Even a bit farther and a little up hill is Green Leaf on 1st Ave (Vietnamese).

Pike Brewing in the Market(on 1st) has surprisingly really good food. The beer's good too. Steelhead Diner is good. On the waterfront, touristy as it might be, Elliott's Oyster House has very good seafood.
