Queen Anne neighborhood....was surprised my offer was accepted! We looked at so many houses and felt this was the right one. Also, most were way more expensive. This has an HOA but it does cover insurance and some other expenses.

Also, glad not to through $3500 or so on rent.

FYI, also wrote my own contract instead of using a realtor. Not saying there isn't a place for a realtor but if you do your homework and feel comfortable doing the contract and negotiations, you can really save a lot of money.

Anyone I told is stunned we did not use a realtor. Maybe it's the norm in Seattle, but there are many who don't use a realtor on the east coast.
