Started out at the Kirkland waterfront.

Let the ride begin. The guide was talking about who lives where but I honestly couldn't tell you. I was so busy flicking away. Everyone gasp when
we slowed in front of Bill Gates 65,000 sq ft mansion. I took a couple of pics but it was hard to see anything. Oh well, the ride was a lot of fun.
I heard Kenny G, Bill Gates, Sun Young Moon, local tv and radio personalities and others mentioned by our tour guide.

Passing under the 520 bridge. I have to cross this everyday to and from work.

Bill Gates home

We continue..

This home belongs to a local artist

Rev. Sun Myung Moon's Unification Church bought this beautiful 1907 home
(at the top) on nearly 2 acres built by Rolland Denny, a Seattle pioneer.

Here we are back in Kirkland

Hope you enjoyed the tour.

I always wondered what some of lake side homes looked like. Really nice. Could that glass house be Dale's? To the Gates' credit, their house somewhat "blends" in with the natural surroundings. Excellent as always! Don't be shy when the weather gets a bit crummy! Thanks!

Beautiful homes! Considering that I didn't grow up in these neighborhoods, it's almost difficult to believe that there are so many luxury mansions in the Seattle area.

I remember a few of these homes from being listed for sale on various sites online, particularly Brio Realty.

Logistical question: How does the cruise boat get past the 520 bridge?

Cross under it near where the bridge starts and also near where it ends, basically near land. The middle part of the bridge is on the water but not the ends. It's awesome being on a boat in Lake Washington!
