...one problem with mini appliances that you clean with paper towels, it that it really runs up my paper towel bill, and I use a lot of paper towels to begin with. I know there are other solutions to using paper towels, but those just create more mess that I don't want to deal with.
I use parchment paper to line the little tray for my toaster oven. Today I toasted a chocolate croissant and I knew it would leak chocolate so lined the tray. Less mess to clean. I line all my baking pans with parchment paper, too, for the same reason.

I just put aluminum foil on the bottom of my toaster oven. That's easy. The paper towels are mostly for cleaning my George Foreman Grill and Dash Mini Griddle. It's a nice easy way of cleaning, but it gets expensive.

I line my toaster oven tray (not the bottom). Got tired of cleaning a nasty tray. Lining with foil is so much simpler.
Got an email from Dash. They have heart shaped waffle makers on sale. So cute!

I saw a LOT of Dash products at Home Goods last night. Not sure what that brand is even about. Only place I have ever seen them is TJ Max and Home goods.

At least in mine that blocks the heating from the bottom. So I keep the foil on top of the bottom tray. Then when it collects up to many crumbs and stuff I just roll up the foil and throw it away. Then I slide another piece in.

Dash makes cool mini appliances. If you do a lot of cooking just for yourself, I find them very useful for making single servings. I really like my Dash Mini Rice Cooker. It's the first rice cooker I have ever found that can make a single one cup serving of rice. The Panasonic rice cooker I've had for 30 years makes a minimum of four cups. I virtually never use it because that's way more rice then I can eat.

I have never used a rice cooker in my life. I don't eat that much rice.
