I love dogs. I have a dog. I don't think ANY dog belongs in a store, not even the small ones, it's not sanitary and it is just wrong.

Does your feeling, expressed above, also extend to Assistive Animals, be they Dogs, Monkeys, Pigs, Horses etc?

Aw, that's sweet. I can't help but always approach a dog I see out and about. I always ask, first, but still....can't help myself!

You should leave your kids home too...but anyhow, I would hope your kid wouldn't just up and bite somebody.

Why do you need to bring a dog to the store. That goes for women who think their dog is an accessory. It drives me nuts.

Let's see: Because my dog likes to go for rides. Likes to be with me. And I like to have him with me.

How's that?

i didn't feel like reading thru ten pages of commentary. when i lived in europe, dogs were allowed in stores (not the grocery store), trains, cafes, bars. . . pretty much anywhere. when i would go shopping, i'd take my dog. out to dinner? dog came along. on a weekend trip? spanky was there, too. ithink it's more of a cultural thing. obviously, it didn't bother me, if a dog is well behaved i really don't see the big deal.

Unless it's a pet place like Petco or a service dog for a disabled person dogs are not allowed by law in stores, restaurants in NJ
Hell I love my dog but she doesn't belong in a store, especially with food
