With Paris and London being roughly the same size I was just wondering outside PSG is there any other Parasian teams and how big are they? London has Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham, West Ham, QPR, Fulham, Millwall etc so was just wondering if there is any other big clubs in Paris.

Only one: PSG. All big French cities have only one Ligue 1 team if I'm not mistaken. There's also Paris F.C., but they play in the third league.

So why don't they build a 100,000+ seater stadium!

I've read that the soccer culture in France in general just isn't the same as it is in other countries.

PSG has other things to figure out before making a huge new stadium. Frankly If they wanted more room, they could just use Stade de France.

They should, if a city the size of Paris has only one major team that team should be able to fill up at least a 100,000 seater stadium. If you add up the average home attendances for London teams there would be 600,000+ fans. In London there is Arsenal 60,361, Chelsea 42,449, Fulham 25,700, Queens Park Rangers 18,360, Tottenham Hotspur 36,230, Crystal Palace 26,309, Millwall 20,146, West Ham United 35,303, Brentford 12,763, Charlton Athletic 27,111, Leyton Orient 9,271, AFC Wimbledon 4,720, Barnet 6,200, Dagenham & Redbridge 6,078. So I think PSG should easily be able to fill a 100,000+ seater stadium!

Youre presuming that everybody in Paris supports PSG though, I am sure thats not the case. If you combined all the teams in London and called it London FC would you fill a 100,000 seater stadium ? Im not so sure about that.

Who else would they support but PSG if they are the only team? Paris is HUGE why have they only got one team? I stay in a city of 160,000 and we have 2 teams that have a big support (for Scottish standards) Milan, Rome, Turin, Madrid, Barcelona, Seville, Lisbon, Munich, London, Birmingham, Liverpool, Manchester, Sheffield, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Athens, Istanbul, Belgrade, Moscow, Bucharest, Belfast all have more than 1 team.

They tried to have another big team at some point - Racing Club de Paris, that became known as Matra Racing in the late 80s - but it didn't last very long.
The thing is: in France, soccer fans do not see the point in having several teams to choose from within the same city. They want to be all united for one and only one team, which then becomes synonymous with the city itself...

Fair dos, but then why don't they have a better support? Paris is one of the biggest cities in the world, they have one team and they don't even fill their stadium every week, I just find it weird.

Paris is a big city full of people, but most "parisians" come from other areas, and stay true to their hometown team. The other reason is that game tickets, even seasom tickets, are too expensive for many people.
