Simply not a fan of a team who boo when someone is genuinely injured and you can hear crap like 'let him die' coming from the stands. I would rather go to the RioT and watch a game, than be on that fake turf at Century Link field.

The defensive display from Houston today was ridiculous and why did their Hall leave his goal in every attack? I didn't see him do this in the MLS!!! Why MLS teams are over intimidated in Mexico?

Hardly pride of America playing on that **** pitch. Disgrace that a team plays on turf.

I just thought of something. Assuming soccer and MLS continue to grow in popularity here, I believe we will see college soccer on the map as a national spectator sport. It just makes sense, US colleges are the primary feeder of the MLS player pool. The US does not have much in the way of soccer youth academies like most countries.

So someday, alot of people will care who wins the NCAAs in soccer, and they'll care more about the college draft every year.

Pride of America? Didn't RSL get to the CCL final not so long ago? Also, are LA not the best team in the US?

Actually, I see the NCAA system fading away or becoming a place for second tier players. Youth academies within MLS are on the rise. The only thing lacking is a college education. If teams could somehow tie their academies to a university so the kids could get an education and be apart of the system, it would work better.

NCAA soccer does not play by FIFA standards and coaching is poor in many places except for top level schools. Academies will do much better at developing talent.
